Borders (not the bookshop)

I've finished the stitched borders on Toccata III and now it is time for the scary drawn thread borders! Bit of a long shot but if anyone out there has stitched this or knows someone who has, could you let me know in the comments? Or is there a good Drawn Thread bulletin board where I can ask a question? There have already been stitches that contained errors, they were mentioned on the DT website but the instruction for the first DT border mentions in two different places, "...36 vertical threads beyond the left side of the design area." I think this may be incorrect, I have a feeling it should be 16? I really don't want to make a mistake as you can imagine!

It's overcast here so the photos may appear a bit dull, my other half took the top photo with his wizzy camera and I took the bottom one with my point and shoot so they may look quite different! I love this piece which was an amazing gift from an amazing lady BeckySC and it really is an education in stitches - Thank You so much Becky!

I've been pretty quiet lately and there are health reasons involved which I don't want to go into in public. I do feel I owe you an explanation though because there is a certain amount of quid pro quo with this blogging malarky. So there you go, a partial explanation at least, sorry I can't be more specific and sorry if I haven't been around to leave a comment on your blog as is the custom!
